By train: You can go for this option if it is not possible for you to drive or you cannot travel by planes. By car: It is one of the cheapest means of transport. If you have seizures during your trip, then it is advisable not to drive the car. In case of epileptic patients, you should make sure that you have a control on your seizure and will be able to drive safely. By airplane: If you have normal seizure, you can travel by planes safely, however, the Aerospace Medical Association recommends people with uncontrollable seizure not to travel by commercial airliners, due to the lack of proper medical help during a flight. If it is very much essential for you to travel, you should have someone accompanying you. You should consult your physician on the impact of changing time zones, sleep deprivation, etc. You should carry with you a good supply of medicines and a letter from your physician, which will have a detailed description of seizure plan, outlining what should be done in case you have seizure during the flight.
